Job Summary/Purpose: In the Production Supervisor position, we are looking for a highly driven individual that will be a leader in safety, product quality, exercising cost control, producing parts and assemblies to schedule, motivating shop employees to attain quantity and quality standards and administering company policies.

Primary Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Become proficient and have knowledge of assemblies and processes involved in the assembly, testing, and shipping of dryer product.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure on time production, which will include but not limited to Fabrication, Gearbox, Auger, Weld, Engineering and Procurement.
  • Supervise assembly of dryer product, be “hands on” with the department, which may include helping in the assembly process.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Procurement for improvement of product and cost reductions.
  • Monitor employees performance to ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and adhered.
  • Implement and assign work schedules to maximize the utilization of manpower, machines, and equipment.
  • Defines expected production standards, and monitors performance standards of the assigned personnel.
  • Ensures inspection checks and quality assurance occurs to produce high quality products.
  • Promote a continuous productivity improvement climate that encourages suggestions for operational improvement.
  • Administers and supports company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • The ability to recognize and solve practical problems and/or issues, communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner, and to effectively interpret and present information both one-on-one and in front of an audience.
  • Calculate figures such as pay changes for employees, proportions and percentages, and product dimensions.
  • Ensure an organized and clean work area by implementing Lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Undefined responsibilities, as they pertain to the success of NECO and its business strategy, may be as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • Five to Seven years of experience in manufacturing or logistics/distribution environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support the company’s business objectives
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and schematics
  • Learn inventory needs and keep dryer parts coming ahead of assembly processes.
  • Develop leaders in your department to help facilitate Dryer Dept. and NECO growthPreferred candidates will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three to five years of experience in a supervisory position
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistic operations environment
  • Practical hands on experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

This person will direct and coordinate activities of wholesaler’s distribution warehouse by performing the following duties: Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and adhere to all Global safety practices. Manage and be responsible for all employee hires, reviews and personnel issues. Manage the order entry process through the AX system as well as manage the inventory for all Global products and accounts. Present an annual review to management with a growth plan for the next business year. Provide market insight for marketing opportunities, new product opportunities. Take responsibility for all warranty, and return issues for customer’s through the warehouse. Support the TM’s in the trade area with facilities for regional training and sales meetings. Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities. Assigns workers to specific duties such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise. Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise.

Qualified candidates should have prior management, sales, customer service and shipping experience.   Familiarity with grain handling equipment preferred. Mechanically inclined a plus.  CNC Whitney Operator:  To set up and operate CNC Whitney to fabricate metal parts for production processes; at least 1 year CNC experience preferred; frequent medium to heavy lifting.  (Strong math skills, ability to read blue prints, programming experience helpful).

CNC Laser Operator:  To set up and operate CNC Laser to fabricate metal parts

for production processes; at least 1 year CNC experience preferred; frequent medium to heavy lifting. (Strong math skills, ability to read blue prints, programming experience helpful).

3 Welders: Experienced welders to do primarily wire feed small and large parts.  Candidates should be able to weld on tabletops.  Weld hot-roll and galvanized parts for grain bins and support structures; must be able to read welding blueprints; welding certification a plus.

CNC Saw OperatorSet up and operate a CNC Saw for fabrication and production of steel parts.  1 year manufacturing experience preferred, frequent medium to heavy lifting required.    (Strong math skills and ability to read blue prints.

Assembler:  Responsible for assembly of grain storage and material handling products.  Must be detail-oriented.  Prefer prior experience in assembly.


Painter:  1 Opening for day shift painter in the powder coat department.  Heavy overhead lifting required. Hourly wage for will reflect experience and skill level of candidate.
